Young Enterprise

AboutYoung Enterprise was founded in 1963 by the late Sir Walter Salomon. The first Young Enterprise company took place in Chatham in Kent; this year over 370,000 students are taking part (2007 - 2008). Volunteers contributed at least 600,000 hours last year. Their time is worth £12m (calculated at £20.00 per hour). Our MissionTo inspire and equip young people to learn and succeed through enterprise. Our VisionThat all young people will have the opportunity to gain personal experience of how business works, understand the role it plays in providing employment and creating prosperity, and be inspired to improve their own prospects, and the competitiveness of the UK. |
